Ale House History

In 1962 my Grandfather, Arnold Pompei, opened the doors to The Riddle.  He started out with our Hand Carved Roast Beef Sandwich, our Snapper Soup and Clam Chowder, which are still served today!  Our Hand Carved Roast Beef is slow roasted for up to 10 hours and hand carved per order.  Like my Grandfather used to tell me “If you cant read the paper through it, its too thick!”  This is our favorite story and a great piece of our Ale House History.  Today the tradition continues with quality food, great service and a comfortable atmosphere.

We are a 3rd generation casual family restaurant/bar serving American Cuisine with Italian influences.  We offer Daily Lunch,Dinner and Drink Specials.  We feature Entertainment 6 nights per week!  We celebrate our past by continuing the tradition of the highest quality food and the best customer service.  Come visit us today!
